Terms of Service

Welcome to lovehasnolimits.com (the "Site"), operated by Love Has No Limits, Inc. ("Love Has No Limits," "LHNL," "we," "us," or "our"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Site, including when you give, sign up to volunteer, partner with us, or contact us.

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and noncommercial purposes, such as learning about our work, giving, and getting involved. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights
• Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate another person or organization
• Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or try to access areas you are not authorized to use
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect information from the Site
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through Site forms

We may limit or end access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.

2. Donations

Processing. Online gifts are processed by our giving partner, Overflow, and are also subject to Overflow's terms and privacy policy. Gifts by mail may be sent to the address in Section 12.

Tax deductibility. Love Has No Limits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 84-3661235). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and are not payments for goods or services. We provide receipts for your records; please consult your tax advisor about your situation.

Refunds. Donations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you believe a gift was made in error (for example, the wrong amount or a duplicate charge), contact us at go@lovehasnolimits.com within 30 days and we will work with you to correct it.

Recurring gifts. If you set up a recurring gift, it will continue on the schedule you choose until you cancel it. You can cancel or change a recurring gift through Overflow or by contacting us.

Designated gifts. When you give to a specific program, city or campaign, we will use your gift for that purpose. If that purpose is fully funded, can no longer be carried out, or becomes impractical, LHNL may use the gift where it is most needed to advance our mission.

3. Volunteering, serve days and events

Information about volunteer opportunities, serve days and events is provided for general purposes and may change. Many events are hosted or coordinated by partner churches, schools and organizations, which may have their own requirements. Participation in some activities may require a separate registration, waiver or background check. Those agreements, not these Terms, govern your participation in the activity itself.

4. Text messages and email

If you sign up to receive email or text messages from us, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or replying STOP to a text. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Information you submit

When you submit information through the Site, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. If you send us stories, photos, feedback or ideas, you give LHNL permission to use, edit and share them to support our mission, without payment to you. We will not publish your name or photo in connection with a story without your permission.

6. Our content

The Site and its content, including text, photos, videos, graphics, logos and the Love Has No Limits name, are owned by LHNL or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and share Site content for personal, noncommercial purposes, such as sharing a page on social media with a link back to the Site. Any other use, including using our name or logo, requires our written permission.

7. Links to other websites

The Site links to websites we do not operate, including Overflow, Good Neighbor Day America, Candid (GuideStar), partner organizations, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

8. Disclaimers

We work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, error-free or secure. Impact figures, program details and event information may change over time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LHNL and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LHNL and its directors, officers, employees and volunteers from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

11. General

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and LHNL regarding the Site.
